SCORE BREAKDOWN
Durability - 4/5 ?
Grip - 2/5
Functionality - 5/5
Design - 5/5
Color options - 2/5
FINAL SCORE - 3.6/5 = rounded to 4/5
DURABILITY - The case appears durable and I am taking Torras's word for it at the moment as I do not want to test out the impact responsiveness of the case unless that happens due to my carelessness. So when I drop my phone a few times I will be able to update the score accordingly. The reason I did not start with the full 5/5 score was because my S23 case was softer and typically softer material tends to absorb shock better. I will update the score higher or lower based on future instances.
GRIP - The grip (or lack of) is my biggest gripe with the case. The case right out the box is slippery and has been slippery for the most part. I am again attributing it to the type of material being used on it. The Samsung S23 case material was, IMO, the perfect one as it provided a grippy feeling while also not absorbing fingerprints. It seems like Torras is using this new material in all my cases as my wife's iPhone case also lacks good grip.
FUNCTIONALITY - The case functions as intended. The 360 stand is the highlight. Having a bigger phone, the 360 stand has been so handy to have while watching videos. The stand is also functional in ways for me to hook my phone on my finger and onto a place. The magnetic functionality is amazing as I did not realize it can be handy and I have had places where I have attached my phone to my fridge while it plays in the background. Pretty cool! The side buttons function as intended and pressing them is quite easy. The wireless charging takes place with no problem too. If I had to nitpick one thing about functionality, it would be that the case is hard to remove once installed. Once again attributed to the harder material which is more tough to bend.
DESIGN - I have always admired the Torras design for its translucent back. That exposes the phone's back and reveals its character. That design is true to their originality and I cannot take that away from them. In addition, the case molds pretty well to the shape of the phone and the various cutouts are in perfect locations without hindering access to those spaces.
COLOR - My second biggest gripe about the Torras case is the lack of color options. IMO phone cases are a way to add more fun (Casteify phone cases) since adding a phone case takes away the original style of the phone. Adding more color options and customizations is one way to make the phone case a little more fun. Even the previous version of the Torras cases (my S23) had fun interchangeable button colors which I really liked. Even bringing that back would've added a little more to this case.
